TONTO FALLS - Ranney School classmates, teachers and coaches are rooting on "The Voice" contestant Jacquie Lee, who has made it to the top eight on the show.
The Colts Neck native is 16 years old and a junior at the school.
Supporters signed a board in her honor at the Tinton Falls school Wednesday. The campus also has balloons and signs supporting its favorite contestant.
"I mean she's completely dedicated to whatever she puts her mind to and it's clear she's that way for “The Voice” as well," says Lee's field hockey coach, Eileen McEnery.
"Beating the odds and getting past the auditions and eliminations to get as far as she's gotten, it's unreal," says classmate Erik Bovino. "Everyone's just so proud of her!"
Lee sings again on Monday. A viewing party will be held at MJs Pizza Bar and Grill on Route 34 in Matawan.
