Rangers fan denied from Devils viewing party at Prudential Center

NEWARK - A New York Rangers fan says she was not allowed to enter the Prudential Center for a Devils viewing party to watch Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Rangers fan Erin McNamara says a worker at the Prudential Center told her that she was not allowed to let her inside even after she said she offered to wear Devils apparel.

McNamara and the Devils fan who invited her to the viewing party say the ticket did not say anything about Rangers fans not being invited.

The Devils reportedly had a link on their website telling fans where they could resell their tickets and to make sure they only went to Devils fans. That link has been removed.

The Devils did not comment.
