PARSIPPANY - Members of the New Jersey chapter of Americans for Prosperity gathered outside the Police Athletic League building to try and persuade elected officials to reduce federal spending.

Over 50 people who were in attendance targeted local Rep. Rodney Frelingheysen (R-N.J.), saying that he has voted the wrong way on important issues.

"Stop spending, stop interfering with our individual liberties," said Christine Garcia. "Stop this humongous growth in government which is totally against what our founding fathers established for us."
