CLINTON TOWNSHIP - Floodwaters rose overnight in Clinton Township as rain fell.

News 12 New Jersey spoke with police who say water was knee-deep in some areas. They say flooding is typical, but the overnight flooding was unexpected.

Police say some roads are closed in the area and they are reminding people not to drive through floodwaters.
