SOUTH ORANGE - For residents in South Orange, things are finally warming up at their homes as power has been restored one week after the snowstorm.

The Public Service Electric and Gas utility (PSE&G) said that at the peak of the outage, 571,000 customers were without power. As of 5 p.m., only about 1,200 outages remain thanks to the help of many out-of-state power crews.

For those who went through the ordeal, they are just glad it is over.

"It was a journey, and I'm glad it's over," says Angela Holder.

In a statement, Gov. Christie (R-N.J.) said if all the power isn't restored statewide, he?ll take action with the Board of Public Utilities.
