PSE&G: Power restored after Edison plant fire

EDISON - PSE&G says it has restored power to all of the customers who were affected by this afternoon's outage.

The transformer failure at a substation in Edison occurred at around 4:30 p.m. after a non-toxic mineral oil caught fire. The fire was extinguished by 5:45 p.m. by members of the Edison Township Fire Department.
