PARAMUS - Animals rights advocates held a protest this afternoon against New Jersey's upcoming bear hunt.

The protest took place in front of the Paramus Municipal Building.

On Thursday, New Jersey's Senate will consider another proposal to ban the hunt. The annual hunt lasts six days and is set to start on Dec. 9.
