WALL TOWNSHIP - The Wall Township school district has confirmed that it's been served with a subpoena by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office for records involving a former superintendent.
In a story seen first on News 12 New Jersey, James Habel's home in Point Pleasant was raided early yesterday morning by detectives.
Sources tell News 12 New Jersey they're looking into whether Habel falsified his time sheets. Habel was allegedly getting a nearly $400,000 payout by the district following his retirement for unused sick and vacation time.
