CLAYTON - The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office announced today that two teenage brothers have been arrested and charged with the murder of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale.
Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean Dalton says the boys lured Pasquale to their home and that she died of blunt force trauma consistent with strangling.
Dalton would not release a motive in the murder. He did say that the teen boys, ages 15 and 17, lured Pasquale because they wanted parts from her bicycle.
Officials found Pasquale's belongings inside the house, including her bicycle.
The two boys were allegedly turned in by their mother after she was tipped off by postings she saw on one of the boys Facebook pages, according to the prosecutor.
Pasquale had been missing since Saturday. Her body was found late Monday in a recycling bin about seven blocks from her home.
