Prosecutor: Development in Boonton slaying

MORRISTOWN - (AP) - Authorities will announce "significantdevelopments" in the case of a mother who was gunned down whilewalking with her husband and 3-year-old son in northern New Jersey.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi has scheduled an 11 a.m.news conference Friday.

Nazish Noorani and her husband, Kashif Pervaiz, had visitedrelatives when shots rang out Tuesday in Boonton. Pervaiz was wounded.

Questions have surrounded his credibility since the shooting. Noorani's sister told The Record newspaper her sister becameunhappy after moving from Brooklyn, N.Y., to Boston, so Pervaizcould attend Harvard. The university can't confirm he's a student. No one has been arrested.
