PRINCETON - Mercer County was one of the hardest hit areas in the latest winter storm.
It is exam week at Princeton University, and students were still out and about, but the streets were noticeably quiet.
Gusty winds and cold air added to the uncomfortable conditions.
P.J.'s Pancakes closed a little early, but was glad to cater to the locals. "I'm happy to see some people here and just hope they get home safely," said assistant manager Jennifer Morgan.
Drivers took it slow on roadways covered in snow. Plow drivers worked to clear them as quickly as they could. "We just do what we can to get by and power through everything," said driver Richie Giquinto.
