Princeton bridal designer speculates on Kate Middleton's dress

PRINCETON - Most of the details surrounding tomorrow's royal wedding have been released to the public, but plenty of surprises remain to be seen.

Kate Middleton's gown design has been a closely guarded secret, but designer Jean-Ralph Thurin, owner of Thurin Atelier Bridal Salon in Princeton, speculated she might wear garments similar to those he has in his store's bridal selection.

The sleeves may be covered with Swarovski crystal, he said, or she might wear something made of French-beaded lace with a satin finish. She might also wear a dress with geometrical patterns on the back and a long train trailing behind. Thurin says he wonders if her dress will be as long as the late Princess Diana's 25-foot train.
