Prayer service held for slain park ranger

WESTFIELD - The community of Westfield came together tonight to mourn the loss of one of their own.

Dozens gathered at the Redeemer Church to remember Margaret Anderson, the park ranger that was gunned down this past weekend at Mount Rainier Park in Washington State.

Not only did Anderson hail from Westfield, but her father is the head pastor at the church, so the death has hit home, especially for the man that delivered the evening service.

Mount Rainier National Park is slated to re-open this Saturday following the full investigation into Anderson's death. A memorial service is being planned.
