EAST ORANGE - Hundreds of people gathered at Seton Hall University today for prayers and remembrance for the victims of a shooting at an off-campus party last month.

Officials say 19-year-old Jessica Moore was shot and killed Sept. 25 by a man who opened fire on partygoers after he was turned away at the door.

Mourners were also asked to pray for the full recovery of two other Seton Hall students who were injured in the shooting.

Authorities say they have arrested Nicholas Welch, 25, and Marcus Bascus, 19, in connection with the shooting. They are charged with murder, conspiracy and weapons offenses and are expected to face attempted murder charges.
