Powerful storm wreaks havoc in Freehold

FREEHOLD - Families in Freehold spent Sunday cleaning up after a severe storm system swept through the area Saturday night, wreaking havoc.

The 60 mph winds pulled down trees, branches and power lines along numerous streets. Many people were left without power.

On one street, two people were sitting in a car when a lightning bolt sent a tree crashing into the roof. Both made it out of the car OK.

Officials say that power may not come back on until tomorrow.
