FORDS - Trees and power lines are down in New Jersey tonight following a powerful summer storm.

The damage resulted in numerous outages, including nearly 15,000 JCP&L customers and 11,000 PSE&G customers as of late Thursday evening.

No one was hurt tonight when a tree fell into a house in Fords, taking out the chimney and two vehicles.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says it is still humid outside with temperatures in the mid-70s. More scattered rain showers will be felt across the Garden State tonight into the Friday morning commute.
