HIGHLAND PARK - PSE&G says power has been restored to thousands of homes and business in Elizabeth, Union Township and Roselle Park that were affected by Saturday's widespread outage.

The loss of power is due to a fire at a substation in Edison.

PSE&G says that four workers were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries after suffering burns while working at the Lehigh Avenue substation in Union Saturday afternoon. Three of them have been released so far.
