Power outages in NJ in wake of Lee's remnants

TRENTON - (AP) - Flash flooding caused by remnants ofTropical Storm Lee has caused scattered power outages around NewJersey.

Nearly 2,700 homes and businesses are without electricityThursday.

Jersey Central Power & Light says most of its 2,300 outages arein north Jersey. However, a motor vehicle struck a utility pole anddisrupted service to several hundred customers in Jackson Township.

Atlantic City Electric is reporting 390 customers are withoutpower.

PSE&G is not reporting any outages.
