LONG BEACH ISLAND - A possible tornado caused major damage in Ocean County Tuesday.

Store windows were smashed, houses were damaged and boats even lifted out of the water in sections of Long Beach Island.

A resident who shot video of the damage in Brant Beach believes it was a tornado.

"You can definitely see the circulation; so I mean, I'm pretty sure it was a tornado from what I saw flying around," says Jack Bushkow.

The National Weather Service is investigating if the event was a tornado.
