TRENTON - A new poll shows Newark Mayor Cory Booker leads possible Democratic challengers in the 2013 race for New Jersey governor.
The Quinnipiac University poll out today shows Booker trailed Gov. Chris Christie by 4 points, while state Sen. Dick Codey came in second, 6 points behind.
The poll also showed a majority of New Jersey voters believe Christie deserves a second term. Fifty-six percent of registered voters approve of the job Christie is doing and 52 percent think he deserves to be re-elected.
The Republican governor himself has not said whether he'll seek a second term next year.
