JERSEY CITY - Police say more than 10 recycling plant employees in Jersey City were overcome by fumes yesterday, and had to receive medical attention.

Officials say about a dozen workers were compressing metal at Sims Metal when they started reporting itchy eyes and noses.

Hazmat crews who responded failed to find anything toxic in the area, but several people were decontaminated and hospitalized as a precaution.
