PATERSON - Police are on the hunt for the suspect who opened fire on a group of people, leaving one injured, early Friday morning.

The shots rang out just before 4 a.m. at 12th Avenue and East 23rd Street.

Police say the shooter fired several shots at the group, hitting one man. He was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call the Paterson Police Department.
