Police still on the lookout for accused rapist in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY - Police are still on the lookout for a man accused of attacking, robbing and raping a woman in Jersey City.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect, who police say raped the woman repeatedly for about a half-hour.

Authorities say the attack happened March 23 in an alley outside of the Harrison Apartments, where the 34-year-old victim is a resident. They say after the attack, the man took off on a grey or silver BMX bike.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
