EDGEWATER - Police say a woman is facing charges of DWI and assault after allegedly running down a bicyclist in Edgewater.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. Friday.

Police say Siobhan Stokley, of North Bergen, appeared to be drunk after she struck the bicyclist with her Hummer on River Road.

The cyclist, identified as 61-year-old Tony Tyson of Jersey City, remains hospitalized in critical condition.
