PATERSON - Paterson police are hoping the public can identify a group of men wanted in connection with an attack on a woman this summer.

The attack happened on July 26, according to police. The woman was walking home on Rosa Parks Boulevard when she was punched and kicked by a Hispanic man in his 20s. She says the man took her purse and cellphone.

Security video shows the man speaking with two other men just prior to the attack. Police say the group of men are believed to hang out near Market Street in Paterson.

Anyone who may recognize the men are asked to call Paterson police at 973-321-1120 or 973-523-TIPS. Police will also accept texts at PatersonPD.com. A reward will be offered.
