Police seek man responsible for fatal shooting at party

PATERSON - Police have issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Charles Conley, who is accused in the shooting death of 26-year-old Sterlin Hightower.

Officials say Hightower was celebrating his birthday when he was shot to death early Sunday morning at his Summer Street home in Paterson.

Police say Conley crashed Hightower's birthday party, he was asked to leave and when he refused to do so an argument broke out.

Hightower would have turned 27 tomorrow.

Anyone with information is asked to call Paterson police (973) 321-1120.
