PATERSON - Paterson police and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are hoping the public can help identify a driver accused of running over a pedestrian and then fleeing the scene.

Officials say the suspect was driving a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck with stickers on the back window. The driver apparently struck a 27-year-old woman from Passaic who was walking near 16th and Madison avenues in Paterson.

The woman was seriously injured and taken to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

An image of the pickup was captured on surveillance cameras.

Police are asking anyone who may know the vehicle or the driver to contact the Passaic County Prosecutor’s tip line at 1-877-370-7276.
