Police release sketch in Bradley Beach hit-and-run

Authorities have released a sketch of a man they say intentionally struck a Bradley Beach resident with a vehicle on July 4.The suspected is described

BRADLEY BEACH - Authorities have released a sketch of a man they say intentionally struck a Bradley Beach resident with a vehicle on July 4.

The suspected is described as a white male in his mid-20s to mid-30s, between 165 and 175 pounds, medium complexion and dark short hair on the sides with longer spiked hair on top.

Police say the suspect struck Thomas Bowker Jr. near the intersection of Ocean Park and Central avenues. Bowker suffered several injuries to his feet and legs during the incident.

The vehicle is described as a black Mercedes Benz four-door compact in newer condition. The vehicle may have New Jersey license plates.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Bradley Beach Police Detective Sgt. Theodore Bianchi at 732-775-6900.
