NEWARK - Newark police have released photos of a suspect involved an aggravated assault and are asking the public to help identify him.

The incident happened just after 1 a.m. Saturday near Irvington Avenue and Manor Drive.

Police say the suspect nearly hit three people in a parking lot.

They say he then got out of his car and punched one of the victims.
