Police probe spike in luxury vehicle break-ins in Milburn

MILBURN - Police in Milburn are investigating a spike in vehicle break-ins this week.

Officials say in the past two days, thieves have targeted a dozen luxury vehicles in the owners' own driveways.

Police say that while four cars were actually stolen, the rest were rummaged through for money and electronics.

All the cars appeared to have been left unlocked, with some even having valet keys left inside the car, according to authorities.

Police are warning everyone to ensure their cars are locked, even if parked in a garage.
