NEWARK - Police are looking for suspects after a man was shot and killed while working at a pizza shop in Newark.

Investigators say 55-year-old Calvin Johnson was shot and killed during an armed robbery at the Golden Pizzeria and Grill on South Orange Avenue at around 11:15 p.m. Saturday night. They say he may have been targeted.

Johnson, a father of six, had worked at the pizza restaurant on-and-off for 35 years.

The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating and asks anyone with information to contact them.

The anti-violence group Enough is Enough is planning a vigil outside the Golden Pizzeria for Tuesday night. They say targeted or not, gun violence needs to end in Newark.
