WAYNE - A man has been arrested in connection to a bomb scare hoax at the Willowbrook Mall.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say Anthony Vigilante approached mall security, telling them he found a note claiming there were six bombs in the food court.

There was a large police response and the mall was evacuated.

Bomb experts searched the area for hours but didn't find anything.

Vigilante is facing charges of creating a false public alarm.
