HILLSIDE - Police are stationed on Route 22 today in Hillside to set up speed traps and ticket drivers who are ignoring the 35 mph speed restriction.

Already dozens of tickets have been issued for speeding and one arrest has been made for alleged drug possession.

The speed restrictions are in place due to ongoing construction, which is making lanes more narrow, on the windy stretch of road.

Police stress that this stretch of roadway is vulnerable to an accident. They add that speeding is a danger to drivers and construction workers.
