Police investigating possible homicide in Mt. Arlington

A well-being check of an elderly woman in Mt. Arlington has turned into a possible homicide investigation after she was discovered dead in her home

MOUNT ARLINGTON - A well-being check of an elderly woman in Mt. Arlington has turned into a possible homicide investigation after she was discovered dead in her home on Howard Boulevard.

Police will only identify the deceased as a 77-year-old woman. They also have not concluded if her death is the result of a homicide.

Police are not taking any chances and have dispatched a mobile command center to the location to collect evidence while the medical examiner determines the cause of death.
