ROSELLE PARK - Roselle Park police are warning all residents to carefully inspect their mail after over a dozen residents received envelopes with a suspicious powder inside.

Police say the envelopes had a fraudulent return address of “Roselle Park Police.”

Officials have tested the powder and say that the substance does not appear to be dangerous.

Police say that any resident who receives a suspicious envelope should not touch it and contact police immediately.

Many of the letters came out of the Elizabeth post office.
