Police investigate early morning shootings in Neptune and Long Branch

Police say the first happened at around 1:30 a.m. in Neptune. (7/5/14)

NEPTUNE - Authorities at the Jersey Shore are investigating two early morning shootings.

They say the first happened at around 1:30 a.m. in Neptune. Bullets came through the window of a vacant apartment, but no one was hit.

Police also say a man suffered minor injuries after a drive-by shooting in Long Branch at around 6 a.m.

They are looking for a white, four-door sedan with tinted windows in connection with the incident.
