Police say that a 12-year-old autistic boy who went missing Thursday night in Elizabeth has been found.

ELIZABETH - Police say that a 12-year-old autistic boy who went missing Thursday night in Elizabeth has been found.

Authorities say David Bardales was taken to Trinitas Hospital. 

The child, who also answers to the name Jamie Fernandez, was last seen before 9 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Rosehill Place. Authorities searched across the city for him through the overnight hours.

Police did not say where they found the boy or why he went missing.
