NEWARK - A man claiming to be a police officer went into two different Newark pharmacies Saturday morning, robbing one of them.

Newark police say an unidentified Hispanic male went to a pharmacy on First Street and told employees he was a police officer there to install surveillance cameras. He left the store after employees called a manager.

At the second pharmacy on Mt. Prospect Avenue, he told the employees the same thing and managed to get into a back room and stole money and drugs before fleeing.
