HOLMDEL - State police have identified the two people killed in a rollover crash on the Garden State Parkway Friday night.

Charles Derosier, 30, of Irvington, and Esperanza Quintani, 56, of Elizabeth, were both pronounced dead.

As News 12 reported, a van carrying 14 passengers overturned in the northbound express lanes near Exit 117 in Holmdel around 7 p.m.

Police say five others inside the van were taken to Bayshore Medical Center with severe injuries.

The roads were wet at the time of the crash, but police haven't said if that played a factor in the incident.
