Police say the body pulled yesterday from the D&R Canal has been positively identified as Sarah Majoras, a Lambertville woman who disappeared last Saturday.

According to the Hunterdon County Medical Examiner, foul play is not expected. Majoras' death is being described as a tragic accident by the prosecutor's office. All of Majoras' personal items, including cash, identification, wallet and keys, were still in her possession.

Majoras was last seen at around 2 a.m. Saturday, when she left a New Hope, Pa. bar where she works as a bartender to cross over the bridge into Lambertville.

The body of the 39-year-old woman turned up after an extensive search of the Delaware River and surrounding areas.

A Facebook page set up by family and friends to aid in the search for Majoras has gained more than 11,000 likes.
