Police give all clear at U.S. Rep. Pallone's office

LONG BRANCH - Police gave the all clear following an investigation of a suspicious package that was found this morning near the offices of Congressman Frank Pallone.

Officials say the bag was found by the democrat's staffers when they reported to the Long Branch office this morning. Police had evacuated everyone from the building as a precaution.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to the scene. Broadway was shut down while investigators determined what was in the package, but the roadway has since reopened.

Congressman Pallone was in his Washington, D.C. office today.
