Police: Dismembered body found in 2 Cliffside Park locations

CLIFFSIDE PARK - Police say several body parts were discovered in separate locations in Cliffside Park today.

Authorities have not yet identified the male victim, but say the dismembered body was found at a church and a house under construction.

According to friends, the victim is 46-year-old Francisco Gonzalez, of Cliffside Park. They say a coworker and Gonzalez's brother allegedly discovered blood outside his building and called police.

Gonzalez's boss, Marc Snyder, also says that his long-time employee didn't show up for work Sunday.

Investigators say they have sent the remains to the Bergen County Medical Examiner's Office to determine the initial cause of death and to make an official identification.
