LONG ISLAND - Police were back on a Long Island beach this morning looking for more possible remains or evidence.

Chopper 12 was over Ocean Parkway as Nassau County and New York State Police officers, some of them armed with chainsaws, scoured the thick brush in the same area where they found a bag of bones and a skull just over a week ago.

"We wanted to come back and do a secondary search of that area, clearing the land and digging a little deeper to determine if any more bones can be found," says Detective Lt. Kevin Smith, of the Nassau County Police Department.

It's been 11 days since any more human remains have been discovered along the parkway. Since last December, police found a total of 10 sets of remains, four of them identified as Craigslist prostitutes.
