PLAINFIELD - The two bodies that were found "stuffed" in the trunk of a parked car have been identified as Avende "Cassy" Orna and her boyfriend, Troy Edwards.
Orna's mother, Veronica Ramessar, told News 12 New Jersey that her daughter didn't deserve to die.
Ramessar learned that the bodies were found inside a car parked in Brooklyn on Tuesday. Orna vanished Feb. 20 along with Edwards. Edwards had previously served four years in a New York prison for criminally negligent homicide.
She says she never trusted Edwards and believes he had enemies.
Police searched a nationwide database of license plate numbers. When the license plate number of the vehicle the couple was last seen driving matched up with the car that received parking tickets in Brooklyn. Police quickly located the vehicle and the bodies.
