Police say suspect Marek Danielewicz is wanted for 80 burglaries in Illinois and California and his accomplice David Packowski is wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. (Credit: News 12)

HOLMDEL - Two alleged serial burglars are in custody after being busted while casing houses in Holmdel.

Marek Danielewicz and David Packowski were arrested after they reportedly rang the doorbell numerous times at a house on Sherwood Court, prompting 14-year-old resident Catherine Geller to call the police.

Police say Danielewicz is wanted for 80 burglaries in Illinois and California, while Packowski is wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Police are searching for a third suspect.
