ELMWOOD PARK - Police say a 14-year-old boy from the Bronx has been arrested for allegedly threatening to "shoot up" Elmwood Park High School.

The boy allegedly left the threat on a guidance counselor's voicemail on Wednesday night, but it was not heard until Thursday morning, when the school was locked down.

The boy was charged with one count of making a terroristic threat and making a false public alarm.

Police say they tracked the boy down by tracing the call. The boy's identity has not been released because he is a minor.
