Police arrest father, brothers in Kearny abduction

KEARNY - Police have arrested a father and his four brothers after they took two young children from his wife's home in Kearny.

Authorities say the father of an 18-month-old and 6-week-old showed up at the home on Kearny Avenue with four of his brothers and used physical force on the children's mother. The two parents are married but separated, according to police.

Authorities say they used cell phone tracking to locate the five men and children on Eggers Street in East Brunswick.

Police say all five men were arrested and face charges. Both children were reported to be unharmed.
