GARFIELD - A 16-year-old is under arrest for allegedly throwing a glass bottle at a fire truck and injuring a firefighter last Friday. 

The truck was en route to a fire call at a local Walmart when it was hit.

The bottle smashed through a rear driver side window hitting the firefighter in the eye. A group of teens was observed fleeing the scene. 

The teen faces juvenile charges of aggravated assault and interference with transportation.
