Police: 2 men arrested for allegedly shooting 3 in Elizabeth

Police say two men have been arrested after two men and a woman were shot in Elizabeth tonight.According to police, Luis Garcia and Leonard Paul,

ELIZABETH - Police say two men have been arrested after two men and a woman were shot in Elizabeth tonight.

According to police, Luis Garcia and Leonard Paul, both of Elizabeth, were taken into custody after they allegedly opened fire on Irvington Avenue near Prince Street.

Officials say the suspects' vehicle was found just blocks from the scene on Westminster Street.

The most seriously injured victim was hit in the abdomen and taken to University Hospital. The other victims were both wounded in the arm.

Police say both men face assault and weapons charges. There is no known motive yet for the shooting.
