RIDGEFIELD - Arson investigators are on the scene in Ridgefield tonight to find out what caused a fire that took the life of a mother and a son.

When firefighters arrived at 962 Linden Ave. early Saturday morning, the home was smoldering and barely standing, with the two victims trapped inside.

Friends and neighbors told News 12 New Jersey that Jeralyn Scibetta and teenage son Danny Scibetta were the two victims. The son's father, a second son and a young woman were able to make it out.

Arson investigators were also going house to house, speaking with neighbors who arrived on the scene first to try and find any helpful information.
